What is Unix Time Stamp?
The Unix time stamp is the number of seconds, excluding leap seconds, from 1st January 1970 at midnight UTC.

Unix time is also known as Epoch time or Posix time and is a system for identifying a point in time.
Unix time does not reflect UTC as it does not include leap seconds which, in Unix time, have the same Unix time as the second before it.
A day in Unix time is 86,400 seconds, meaning that it loses synchronisation with Earth’s rotation at approximately 1 second per year.
Please find the Unix convertor below to identify the current Unix time or input a Unix time stamp to convert it to a local date/time.
